Have you ever had the feeling that a piece of your puzzle was missing? Like you know you should be doing something, and that if you could just figure out what that is, everything else would fall into place?
I’ve been feeling like that lately. Along with feeling overwhelmed, and a little out of sorts, it just felt like there was something missing from my daily routine that if I could just figure it out, would make everything start to flow again.
And I realized when I was writing my monthly article for the Power Affiliate Club blog, that I miss my own blog! I’ve been so focused on creating coloring kits and publishing journals over the course of this summer, that I haven’t written anything except a few lines in my own journal here and there.
I’m a writer first and foremost before anything else, and to have gone this long without really writing anything has really done a number on my energy and my creativity. Even though I know my “one thing” is the journal and coloring book publishing, and that’s going really well, I also know that none of it works when there’s no writing energy flowing through me.
So, starting today I am committed to writing 100 posts in 100 days for the second time. I did it around this time last year and it really propelled me into the best year I’ve had since we started Ritchie Media back in 2004.
I’m really hoping that committing to a daily writing practice for the next 100 days will shake something loose and fire up my creativity so that I can create even better journals, planners and coloring books for end use customers, and white label packages for my commercial use customers.
